The Lemon Festival has been an important part of Upland tradition since 1997. What originally started as a simple way of celebrating the city’s citrus industry origins has grown into a town-wide affair. The Lemon festival now, includes the annual Lemon Idol vocal contest, food competitions, carnival rides and is ultimately the perfect way to bring the Upland community together! Lladró is a Spanish pocelain figurine brand founded by three brothers; Juan, Jose, and Vicente Lladró.
The three brothers started creating items such as vases and jugs, and it wasn't until 1956 when they started producing pocelain figures, that they gained their popularity and established their name.
Everything they made was manufactured in their only factory in the world located in the village of Almàssera near Valencia.
